Knitted Knocker should bring hope for a better future. It's also okay if they bring a smile to her face when she sees them for the first time. Here's a sample of one Lorri just made.
Knitted Knockers are prosthetic breasts for mastectomy patients. When placed in a bra, these knitted breasts take the shape and feel of a real breast. They are lighter and more comfortable than silicone prosthetic breasts. The knitted fabric breathes and prevents the heat rash experienced by many women wearing the silicone ones. We are now a 501 (c)(3) public charity.

New Information Source / Logo
We've attempted to consolidate information, patterns, news, thank you notes, etc in a single spot. To see this click here.
We've also just completed a logo that is meant to reflect and represent what we are trying to do. Here it is, please send me your comments.

We want to thank the growing number of people across the country that have downloaded the Knitted Knocker & Crochet patterns. It's amazing to watch this movement grow as women reach out to help other women.
We are busy working on an updated version that will be much easier for both the makers and the users of the Knockers. As soon as this is finished we'll post it here.
We are also continuing to work with Chesley from "the Knitting Experience" to build on her existing internet network to reach others. She was one of the original founders of this movement and unfortunately life has sent her in another direction. Watch for more on this.
