Making A Difference

This is a project that can change another persons life, while enhancing yours.
Look around your group of friends and family members, it's hard to find someone who has not been directly touched by breast cancer or who doesn't know someone who has been.  By making a Knitted Knocker, which takes a couple hours, you have the opportunity to restore/affect someones life.

The Patterns
We did not write the patterns that we are recommending for knitting or crocheting the knockers, so I'd like to acknowledge the two pattern authors.  The knitted pattern, Tit Bits, was written by Beryl Tsang, while the Crocheted Falsies was written by Jackie Lind.  Here are the free patterns for you to use.

Our Goal
We hope to provide information for groups across the country who are interested in making the Knockers for those who need them.  We'll share what has worked for us and some of the moving stories from the ladies who have received the Knockers.

If you have questions for us, please send them to tempeyarn@gmail.com
